Welcome to the South Bay Amateur Radio Club

The SBARC (South Bay Amateur Radio Club) was founded first as the Carson Amateur Radio Club in May 1972.  In an effort to extend membership to those living in the South Bay outside of Carson, the General Membership changed the name to the current SBARC in May 1981. In December 1996, the Club obtained the vanity call sign, W6SBA, and it is still well known by this call today.

We are an active club with special events, monthly meetings, and weekly nets.

Our meetings are held the third Thursday of each month at 7:30pm in the Health Conference Center at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, 3330 Lomita Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505.

Please come to one of our meetings, we would love to meet you.
